toe jam
last thursday night we were supposed to rehearse for our upcoming worship service on the 19th. we're doing lots of music, including an instrumental prelude off of the trans siberian orchestra christmas cd. well, the power went out in the building, so we did a vocal rehearsal by candlelight (pretty cool) and had to reschedule our instrumental rehearsal for 6:30 am saturday - the only time we could get everyone together. we've got two keyboard players, two guitarists, bass, drums and viola, but there's this one place where we just needed to add one more extra part...so:

that's an alesis micron. a way cool analog modeling synth. has the same innards as the ion, just less knobs, better effects, half the price. highly recommended. check it out at alesis.com.
sweet stuff. hey, kim and i swung by fbc today for services (i had the day off). the stained glass was cool... so was the big cross in the middle of the room w/ the elements! wish i could have seen you in action, though...
